The European Chamber’s Non-Banking Financial Institutions Working Group is delighted to invite you to its next working group Meeting “Navigating the China’s Multi-Level Protection Scheme 2.0” which is to take place on Tuesday 2nd March 2021, 10:00-12:00 am.
At this meeting, Ms Beibei Zhang, DS Avocats will present an overview of the Multi-layered Protection Scheme (MLPS) 2.0 and its current mandatory implementation status. She will also advise members on the security and operational requirements for MLPS on which they will be assessed and how foreign companies can ensure internal security and compliance.
At the end of this meeting, we will hold 2021-2022 WG Chair Elections. The Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group, which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the WG Position Paper, communicating key messages to Chinese and European government authorities and steering Working Group meetings.

In your Motivation Letter please state why your wish to be elected Chair or Vice Chair and provide a set of goals you have for the WG over the next 12 months as well as your intended contribution to the Position Paper.
