Please note that the first Environment WG meeting of 2009 will take place on Friday, 9th January 2009 at 08:30 at our Shanghai office. We are delighted to welcome Mr. Benoit Vermander, from Ricci Institute to give a presentation on China's environmental and social challenges as we move into a new Year.
Benoit Vermander has published extensively on China’s environmental and social challenges and has conducted pilot projects in Sichuan connected with local development, soil erosion and education. He has a MA/MPhil in political science form Yale University and a PhD in the same discipline from “Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.” His recent publications include:
