On December 27, 2018, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued the Notice " Circular on Issues concerning the Connection of Relevant Preferential Policies after the Revision of the Law on Individual Income Tax", which provides a three-year transition period for the preferential tax policies for foreign individuals after the tax reform.
Now, with the transition period ending on December 31, 2021, the future policy trend is worth further consideration when enterprises formulate and adjust the remunerate package. European Chamber Nanjing Chapter invited KPMG to sort out the current preferential policies for foreign individuals, reveal the impact and challenge of the changes for both enterprises and foreign taxpayers, and help enterprises make timely and appropriate decisions.
