In light of many inquiries we’ve received about complying with China’s latest tax policies, the European Chamber is pleased to invite you to an SME Forum tax workshop. Tax specialists from LehmanBrown will offer members valuable advice on issues affecting foreign business in the Pearl River Delta.
A range of topics will be discussed, including VAT reform, new business tax provisional regulations and implementation rules, special adjustments on transfer pricing, increases of the VAT export refund rate, how to set up and liquidate companies and representative offices, issues with expatriate personal income tax arrangements, filing corporate income taxes, and how to properly manage the customs handbook, bonded machinery and inventory, the disposal of defective goods and scraps, and domestic sales processing trade.

Carl Poon - Tax Director at LehmanBrown's Shenzhen office
He has solid practical experience in PRC tax and business advisory services, with special expertise in the South China markets. His particular service areas cover PRC corporate and individual income taxes, VAT, customs duty, foreign exchange, urban real estate tax and land appreciation tax.
Linda Tan
Through out her career, she has provided comprehensive PRC tax services to multi-national companies across a range of industries including manufacturing, international trade, railway exploration and design, railway transportation, FMCG industry and banking. Linda's ervice areas cover indirect tax, corporate tax, customs and the related processing trade, and foreign exchange.

Please register before 2:00pm on Monday, 9th March. Please note that we will send you a registration confirmation. We require 24 hours notice for cancellations, no-shows who fail to cancel before this time will be invoiced for the event. Registrations done after the deadline will be accepted only if space permits and are charged an additional 50 RMB walk-in fee.
Fees will be collected in cash at the entrance.
