Dear Pharmaceutical WG Member,
We are delighted to invite you to the next Pharmaceutical WG meeting which will take place on Friday, March 27th at 2 pm at the European Chamber Office in Beijing and Shanghai.
At this meeting we will hold the 2009 Pharmaceutical WG Elections. As you may know, the Pharmaceutical WG Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the WG which includes the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Pharmaceutical WG meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts that has the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the WG is also highly valued. These honorary positions represent a tremendous opportunity represent the Pharmaceutical WG at very senior levels. Attached is a PDF on the role of Chair.
