Many people are talking about the possibility that China can be the first economy to recover from the global crisis in 2009. Is it possible ? Do we really know what we are talking about ? Have we already reached the bottom in China ?
Professor Jianmao Wang will share with us his analysis and describe two scenarios for the Chinese economy up to 2011.

Professor Wang Jianmao
Professor of Economics, CEIBS
Prof. Wang’s research focus on Chinese economic reform and development, international technology diffusion, and management education. His work has appeared in the Canadian Journal of Economics, Harvard Business Review, Far Eastern Economic Review, Shanghai Management Science, the Journal of Economic Integration, etc. He is co-editor of the CEIBS Case Book Series and translator of Prof. Jinglian Wu’s book “Understanding and Interpreting Chinese Economic Reform.”
Prof. Wang has held several important administrative responsibilities within CEIBS, incl Director of the MBA program, Director of Case Development Center and Associate Dean. He was a country expert for the project “China and the World: Scenarios to 2025” of the World Economic Forum and attended the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2006 and the Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum in Dalian in 2007 and in Tianjin in 2008.
