We are delighted to invite you to our next Working Group meeting which will take place on Thursday, 9th April, starting at 3.30pm, in the EUCCC offices, Shanghai. Please see the full agenda below.
Agenda:
1) Presentation from Richard Du, PricewaterhouseCoopers – ‘Internal Control in an International Company’
Mr. Richard Du, PwC, will deliver a presentation on Internal Control in an International Company and will be happy to answer any further questions on the subject.
2) Elections for Working Group Chair and Vice-Chair
During this meeting we will hold our annual elections for the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair for the Working Group. The Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the group, including drafting the Position Paper, communicating key messages to Chinese and European Governmental bodies, and steering Working Group meetings.
We are delighted to announce that Mr. Simon Tan will stand again for the position of WG Chair, and Ms. Anna Ding will also stand again for Vice-Chair. This year we will also be seeking the election of a second Vice-Chair.
Candidates for election:
Chair (1 position): Mr. Simon Tan, Deloitte
Vice-Chair (2 positions): Ms. Anna Ding, BASF. Mr. Claus Schuermann, PwC.

3) Position Paper 2009/2010 – content for F&T section
We are currently drafting our new European Business in China Position Paper 2009/2010 and therefore we would like to seek your input on the content of the Finance & Taxation section. The current Position Paper can be viewed on our website - to see the F&T section please click here.
Please also see the document attached which lists the Key Recommendations from last year’s paper and may help structure any input you might have.
4) Any other business
We would invite EUCCC members to come and share any finance and taxation related issues that you and your company are facing and take advantage of this knowledge sharing opportunity. We will also discuss topics for upcoming breakfast seminars and future Working Group meetings and would welcome your suggestions.
