The People's Bank of China (PBOC) is seeking public consultation on the Draft Regulation on Local Financial Supervision and Administration for Financial Institutions. The NBFI Working Group decided to hold an internal discussion on 12th January from 10:00-11:00 (Beijing time) to align the comments to be submitted to the PBOC and consider other options.
A lobby letter will also be sent to request a meeting with PBOC to discuss this important regulation that is foreseen to be implemented in a 3-year period of time and would have significant negative impact on the European Leasing companies in China.
