The WG Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the WG which includes identifying the key concerns of business sectors, drafting the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, developing and promoting the WG activities in coordination with the BM. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts who has the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the WG is also highly valued. These honorary positions represent a tremendous opportunity represent the European Chamber and Legal WG at very senior levels.

Mr. Rainer Burkardt has also offered to continue as WG Vice-Chair, however sadly Mr. Arnaud Depierrefeu will not be able to continue in his role as he will be moving to Dubai to continue his career.
