The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and Canada China Business Council Beijing Chapter is delighted to invite you to attend a breakfast seminar on "Key Issues When Implementing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in Your Market".
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) has emerged as an important policy tool for managing the environment by promoting recycling, and thus reducing waste. The concept implies that responsibilities that were traditionally assigned to consumers and waste management authorities are to be extended to the manufacturer of the products based on the ‘producer pays’ principle. This event seeks to address common EPR issues from the business perspective.
Issues covered will include:
Why EPR? Why it is important to understand the drivers for EPR. What really matters? The waiver of key concerns when setting up an EPR solution for producers.
Join us to find the answers to these questions.
