Flender Ltd., China (FLC) was founded in 1996 by German Flender GmbH and is since then located in Beichen Economic Development Area of Tianjin. With an area of 255,000 m2 (thereof 120,000 m2 for plant) and more than 2,000 employees (mainly engineers and qualified workers). FLC is one of the large multinational companies in Tianjin and the largest Flender gear unit manufacturing base outside of Germany.
