The metaverse is taking the world by storm, with lots of points of view on existing and emerging technologies being adopted by consumers and brands. In gaming and entertainment spaces, Microsoft teams up with high-profile VTubers in order to promote its Xbox Game Pass. Fashion labels like Dior and Moncler are creating their own virtual influencers and immersive virtual shopping experience.
Is this Web 3 future bringing brands booming business opportunities, and even into a fully digitised marketing ecosystem, or is it just another buzzword in the tech world? Will NFT marketing be synchronised with or independent from the highly developed ecommerce system in China? What meta-strategies can marketers learn from the successful cases to provide more immersive customised digital experience?
To explore why metaverse is worth investing in and how brands can fully leverage metaverse marketing solutions, the European Chamber welcomes experts with hands-on experience in metaverse covering media & technology, brand communication and marketing to share useful case studies and insights towards this topic.
