Both environment and diversity and inclusion (D&I) are critical to businesses that are in pursuit of sustainable development.
Since the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in China, the Construction of China's ecological civilisation has entered vital strategic directions. The European Chamber’s member companies actively work on pollution prevention, waste reduction and biodiversity, as well as promote diversity and inclusion, to achieve overall green development.
Diversity and inclusion (D&I) are critical to business. Organizational diversity and inclusive structure create an equal and fair working environment for employees while providing more possibilities for business transformation and innovation. By looking at the diversity of employees and business structure and carrying out various CSR activities, enterprises can stimulate their creativity and productivity, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance market competitiveness. The European Chamber’s member companies actively promote diversity and inclusion and are committed to building an equal and inclusive workplace for employees for better social equality.
This year the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter will run the 6th cycle of its flagship project: Sustainable Business Awards 2022 (SBA). The SBA is to reward excellence in sustainable and CSR company programmes and raise awareness about sustainable business practices and responsible operating models. “Outstanding Environmental Performance” and “Navigating Diversity and Inclusion” continue to be two of the six categories for this year’s awards.
We are delighted to invite you to attend the SBA 2022 - Sustainable CEO Talk Series Two in One: Outstanding Environmental Performance & Navigating Diversity and Inclusion.
