Dear SCA Working Group Member,
The EU-China Workshop on Application of Standardisation in China will be held in the afternoon of 26th and whole day 27th May at the Renaissance Beijing Hotel.
This workshop aims to provide EU industry represented in China with a practical understanding of the standards making process in China, by introducing the system top down. The approach of the workshop will be to give a through introduction of the structure of Chinese standardization and its links to Conformity Assessment and IPR regime. Furthermore, the training will introduce the main stakeholder in Chinese standardisation, establishment of TC and its participants, as well as examples of strategies adopted by the Chinese industry engaged in standards drafting. The training will not be sector specific in its approach but rather aim to give participants a practical understanding of the overall process.
The workshop will be free of charge however we encourage you to register your company and colleagues before 22nd May in order to secure your participation, as there will be limited seating for the event.
