The European Chamber and the EU SME Centre, together with the China Centre for the Promotion of SMEs, is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Working Group meeting, where Ms Song Xuanyi, Deputy Director of the China Center for the Promotion of SMEs, will present the key findings of the 2021 Assessment Report on the Development Environment of SMEs. The Working Group meeting will take place on 21st July from 10:00 to 11:00 online via Zoom. The meeting will be conducted in Chinese and English interpretation will be made available.

About the EU SME Centre
The EU SME Centre is a European Union initiative that provides a comprehensive range of hands-on support services to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), getting them ready to do business in China. Currently in Phase IV of the project, the EU SME Centre is implemented by four consortium partners and two associated partners – the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF), Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), Trade Promotion Europe (TPE), and the EU-China Business Association (EUCBA), bringing an unprecedented mix of relevant and complementary expertise and network to the EU SME Centre, with headquarters in Europe and in China.
About the China Center for the Promotion of SMEs
The SME Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (China Center for the Promotion of SMEs), the only comprehensive service organization at the national level to promote SME development in China, was formally established in 1986 under Zhu Rongji and other senior national leaders. Over the past 30 years, the Center has worked towards supporting and serving the national SME authorities, establishing and improving the national SME service system, and promoting international exchanges and cooperation among SMEs, and it has become the leader of the national SME service system.
