On the 14th May, Lighting Working Group of European Chamber met with Mr. Yang Tiesheng, Deputy Director General of Department of Energy Conservation and Resources Utilization of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) to discuss industry issues of concern. Issues discussed during the meeting covered Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) as well as issues of common interest. Further co-operation between the two parties was also agreed.
