The semiconductor industry has become front and centre in the economic strategies of national and international political rivalries. The technology is the source of global innovation and underpins competitiveness in the high technology industry. Europe, China, the United States and other leading economies are all putting forth major policies to build up their domestic supply chains and capture the benefits of semiconductor leadership. But with a complicated and inflexible supply chain making ‘national self-reliance’ in semiconductors almost technically impossible, every region and country faces hard choices on how to support their domestic industry while also collaborating with global partners, allies and competitors.
Join us for a candid, off-the-record breakfast discussion themed “Semiconductors, Geopolitics, Globalisation and Decoupling” on 6th September (Tuesday) at 8:00–9:30 am with Chris Thomas, founder of Integrated Insights.
* Seating is limited to a maximum of 30 and will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.
* Members of the Advisory Council will be charged at regular member rates for this event.
