The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce are delighted to invite you to an afternoon seminar on China's New Tax Rules for Corporate Restructuring at Kempinski Hotel Beijing on Thursday 9th July.
China’s Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation recently issued tax rules governing mergers and acquisitions. The new comprehensive set of regulations offer helpful guidance to tax treatments of various forms of reorganizations including debt restructuring, stock and assets acquisitions, mergers, and de-mergers. However, more restricted rules are imposed on cross-boarder tax-free reorganizations. Those new rules have significant impacts on corporations and their shareholders. With the increasing corporate restructuring and other M&A activities, you should be aware of the opportunities and pitfalls of the regulations and understand can and can’t in structuring and restructuring your business.
At this seminar, our guest tax specialists will share with you their observations on this important tax regulatory development, discuss recent ant-avoidance cases in cross-boarder investment structure, and answer restructuring questions that you may have.
