In order to promote the level of safety management of raw materials in China's cosmetic industry, the National Medical Product Administration (NMPA) released the cosmetic raw material safety information (RMSI) registration platform, to facilitate the filling of safety information for cosmetic raw material companies. From 1st January 2023, cosmetics registrant, notifier and domestic responsible person need to provide all safety-related information of raw materials when apply for product registeration and notification in accordance with the requirements of the Provisions on the Administration of Cosmetics Registration and Notification Dossiers.
The European Chamber Cosmetics Working Group organises a joint seminar with Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) on RMSI Submission discussion, aims to better connect the raw material manufactures and finished cosmetic product companies, enhance the understanding and implementation of regulations, and support compliance tasks through communication and cooperation.
