Dear Environment WG Members,
I am delighted to invite you to our next Environment Working Group meeting on 16th July. I am happy to announce that Dr. William Lau from SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services will give a presentation on "Carbon Emission Reduction."
During his presentation William will cover the following topics:
- What is carbon?
- What is product carbon footprint?
- PCF from voluntary to mandatory
- How to do it?
- Difficulties in PCF
- Case study and related laws and regulations brief will be included.
Following this presentation he will lead the discussion.
About the Speaker
Ir Dr William Lau is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Scientist and Certified Energy Manager, an experienced engineering, managerent and environmental professional with over 25 years of industrial experience in environmental management, environmental and quality audits, EIA implementations, environmental monitoring and audits, among others.
Currently, he is Technical Director, Energy Services Department, SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Company Limited, providing climate change and energy related services including CDM, M&V and energy management.
