In the past months, China Customs announced a series of policies which relate to operator management, bonded manufacturing supervision, revenue collection and Customs clearance reforms. newly issued laws/regulations have effects on current operations of companies. Meanwhile, China Customs also disclosed their short-term achievements in revenue campaign from customs audit, valuation and classification perspectives.
The enterprises need to leverage efficiency improvement and customs risk management with a reference to the latest developments.

Jean Lee - Partner, Trade & Customs Practice, KPMG
Jean started her tax consulting career in Shanghai in 1997. Jean has more than 10 years of experiences in the China tax practice and has working experiences in the United States, Shanghai as well as Shenzhen in China. Jean is currently based in KPMG Shenzhen office. Jean is a Certified Public Accountant and a lawyer practitioner qualification holder in China.
Jean has extensive experiences in China Tax consultancy. With her strong accounting, auditing, taxation and legal background, Jean advises clients on their investment and development plans, business structures, merger and acquisition transactions, share transfers, liquidation processes, transfer pricing strategies as well as tax and legal matters of business operations. Jean also maintains good relationship with both tax and investment related authorities in Shenzhen.
Mr. Sam Fan- Senior Manager, China Tax
KPMG China
Sam started his tax consulting career in Hong Kong in 2001.
Sam worked in KPMG Hong Kong office for about two years. He is now based in KPMG Shenzhen office.
Sam provides PRC tax compliance and consultancy services to multi-national companies. He also advises clients on taxation and business matters relating to the establishment of business entities in the PRC, the on-going operation and structuring of PRC business entities.
