The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and the SwissCham Beijing invite you to an afternoon seminar on “Employer Branding and The Power of Corporate Culture” at 4pm on 24th September, Ballroom D in the China World Hotel.
Employer Branding and the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is now, more than ever, the best bet for finding and keeping the talent that organizations and companies need in order to prosper in a rapidly changing economy. But there seem to be as many opinions as to what these terms mean as there are HR managers. For some it is simply a ‘creative’ recruitment ad, for others a campus recruitment campaign or the use of social media as a candidate channel.
Recognizing and harnessing the power of corporate culture is another imperative that corporations need to focus on to keep employees loyal and enhance their competitive advantage. The companies that manage not only to communicate the employment experience, but also take action to constantly improve that experience and change behavior in line with corporate business strategy and goals, will be the long-term winners not only in China but globally.
At this seminar, our guest speakers will explain their view on the terms of employer branding and corporate culture, give us the examples of global best practice and process and map out the strategy for your HR management.
The Speakers:
Mark Baldwin, Managing Director of Oxus China ( bio)
Mark Baldwin was CEO and founding partner of China’s first internet recruitment company, Zhilian Zhaopin.com. Mark will argue HR’s role will increasingly concern ‘employer brand management’ – much more than just pretty pictures - and (as far as possible in the time allotted) will give us his views of what employer branding and EVP entails. He will delineate the process of ‘discovering’ your own EVP, and from that how to create internal and external communications to attract and engage the talent you need to succeed in PRC.
Jeremy Perks, Head of Mindset Matters Group China ( bio)
Jeremy is a consultant and coach specializing in leadership effectiveness, team effectiveness and strategy execution.
