Mr. Francois Jenny
Francois Jenny has been working in China since 2005 and involved in the environmental industry from the late 90s. He studied in both France at University of Compiegne (MSC in Chemical Engineering) and the UK graduating from Cranfield University (MSC in Applied Energy) and from Warwick University (MBA).
Francois has been engaging in the waste management industry since early 2000, responsible for a variety of waste treatment and recycling plants in Greater China and Asia including Municipal Solid Waste, Organic Waste, Hazardous Waste, Plastic, Construction and Decoration Waste, Soil Remediation, Industrial Services and Sustainable Waste Management etc..
Currently Francois is working for Veolia China as Senior Vice President, in charge of the Solid Waste & Recycling Business Line including Plastic Recycling, Battery Recycling, Landfill, Electronic Waste etc…
Francois has developed expertise in circular economy and sustainable development and he is accompanying private and public partners to develop and implement their sustainable development and circular economy road map.
Mr. Jingcheng Li
Mr. Jingcheng Li is the Vice President, Asia Strategy and Business, with the responsibility of strategy, joint ventures and acquisitions, external relations, market analysis and development in the Chinese market.
Mr. Jingcheng Li joined Faurecia China at the end of 2006 and has worked in several key management positions, including Plant General Manager, Strategy and Partnership Director, Director of Business Development and Strategy as well as Deputy General Manager. He has served as the current position since July 2022.
Prior to joining Faurecia, Mr. Jingcheng Li worked for Valeo Wipers in Wenling, China as General Manager and Director of the Board. He also worked as Manager at the French consulting firm BDO Gendrot.
Mr. Jingcheng Li graduated from the University of International Relations in Beijing and from Paris Institute of Political Studies.
Ms. Jo Yu
Ms. Jo Yu currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for Lesaffre China, responsible for marketing, corporate communications, and e-commerce. She led Lesaffre's participation in the CIIE, launched self-operated e-commerce and live streaming businesses, organized the Louis Lesaffre Cup World Baking Competition in China, and supported the development of baking industry. She actively promoted the training of young people in Yunnan and Tibet in baking techniques in Shanghai, promoting local baking industries and vocational education. She also actively fulfills corporate social responsibility, supporting and sponsoring multiple public welfare projects, collaborating with the government and food enterprises to develop new formulas for Tibetan barley, Xinjiang naan, Yunnan red rice, and other specialty foods, promoting rural revitalization. In 2021, she became a member of the Xu Hui District Political Consultative Conference in Shanghai.
Mr. Pierre Couturier-Bonsergent
A native of Paris, Pierre studied at the Paris Institute of political studies (Sciences Po Paris), both at bachelor’s level in political science and master’s in public affairs. At the end of his bachelor’s, he also spent one year at Peking University. Later on, Pierre interned in French diplomatic missions in Southeast Asia and Southern Africa, at the Asia Centre research institute (Paris) and in the diplomatic department of the French Presidency. After graduating in July 2023, Pierre took up his first public service position as Deputy Economic Consul in Shanghai in August 2023.
Ms. Tiantian Qi
Tiantian is a Senior Business Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Sino-EU government relations industry. Skilled in Corporate Social Responsibility, International Relations, Programme Design and Policy Analysis across the food and beverage sector, auto sector as well as the satellite industry.
During her role leading the CSR Forum of the European Chamber, she organised European Chamber 10th Anniversary Conference in 2015 and coordinated with more than 30 member companies’ speakers, led (edited, designed, coordinated) and managed the CSR White Paper project which includes the liaison and coordination of more than 10 Member States Consulate Generals in Shanghai and 20 sponsor companies in 2016; Organised the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter first Sustainable Business Awards and designed seven series of CEO Talks; Organised the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation CSR Dialogue at the European Chamber in April 2018 and the 2018 SBA in September; Established Shanghai Local Media (Shine: Shanghai Daily App) cooperation with European Chamber and launched European Chamber Sustainable Column at Shanghai Daily in 2017; Led the European Chamber CSR Team teach at Shanghai University for its MBA students on CSR together with the Swedish CSR Ambassador in summer 2017, 2018 and 2019; Led the CSR delegation join the European Commission Multi-Stakeholder Meeting in Brussels and coordinate the member speech delivered on CSR in China on February 2015 (First time in the history of the Multi-Stakeholder meeting to host delegates from China and hear China CSR practice).
