The Maritime Manufacturing & Industrial Services Working Group is pleased to invite you to its 2024 Kick-off Meeting on Tuesday 12th March 2024, 14:30-16:30 at the European Chamber Shanghai office, and via Teams online. At the meantime, the M&M WG is calling for Chair/Vice Chair candidates for the 2024-2025 term.
During the Kick-off meeting, the M&M WG is delighted to invite Mr Thibaut Raeis, Technical Manager of GTT China, and Mr SI Nan, Section Chief and Senior Engineer of Marine Design & Research Institute of China (Maric), on technological and innovation advancement in green shipbuilding sector. We will also present an overall review of 2023 activities and have the 2024 PP discussion.

Speakers
Mr. Nan SI
Si Nan, Senior engineer, chief of Business & Planning Section, Merchant Ship Department, Marine Desing & Research Institute of China(MARIC), has long been engaged in shipping market analysis and ship type research and development. Especially in the context of the acceleration of global decarbonization process, he has deeply cultivated green ship design technology and developed a number of energy-saving and environment-friendly ships.
司南，现任中国船舶及海洋工程设计研究院，民船部经营计划科科长，高级工程师。长期从事航运市场分析及船型研究开发工作，尤其是在全球脱碳进程加快的背景下，深耕绿色船舶设计技术，研发设计出一批节能环保型船舶。
Mr. Thibaut RAEIS 钱博
Thibaut started his career more than 10 years ago in Singapore and then moved to China early 2015. Since his start, he has been involved in liquefied gases industry, firstly working for a European LNG shipowner and later Chinese R&D center.
Joining GTT five years ago, Thibaut is nowadays Technical Manager of GTT China, and actively develop the GTT Group business activities including shipping and digital solutions. Rich of his experiences learnt in the Asian pro-active environment, he developed a comprehensive understanding of today LNG industry.
钱博先生10多年前在新加坡开始了他的职业生涯，2015年移居中国。自工作以来，他一直从事液化气体行业，先为一家欧洲主营LNG船运业务的公司工作，后在另一家中国的LNG研发中心工作。钱博先生于五年前加入GTT，现任GTT中国区技术经理，积极发展GTT集团的船舶航运以及数字解决方案业务。
