Dear Members,
Following the announcement of candidates for the positions of Chair and Vice Chair, the Rail Working Group is pleased to invite you to join its 2024 Kick-off Meeting which will take place onsite from Beijing and online on Thursday 28th March, 16:00-18:00.
The main topics for this meeting will be the revision of the activities of the WGs in 2023, as well as the establishment of the WG priorities for 2024 and the discussion on the upcoming Rail WG Position Paper. Thus, members are strongly encouraged to join the discussion and provide input on the key issues which will likely shape the activities of the Working Group this year.
During this meeting we will hold our 2024-2025 chair elections. Candidates running for the elections will introduce themselves and their goals for the Rail Working Group over the next 12 months. Please find attached the bios and motivation letters of this year’s chair Candidates:
