Thursday 12th May 2005, 08:30
Shell Board Room (33/F, Tower 2, China World Trade Center, Beijing 100004, P.R.China, tel- 010 6505 4501)
We are pleased to invite you to our regular PCOG Working Group meeting which will be held on May 12th, 2005. The key topic for discussion will be the up-coming 2005 Position Paper- the most important output of the Working Group.
Based on last year's Position Paper (attached for your reference) we will brainstorm on ways to update and sharpen the content of this year's Position Paper. In order to ensure that discussion is as productive as possible, it would be helpful if you could please take a few moments to:
a) Consider our previous recommendations;
b) Assess the extent to which they're still valid;
c) Formulate ideas for ways we could effectively convey our messages to regulators
The tentative agenda for the meeting is:
1. Presentation & Discussion: China Energy Scenarios and Developments by Henry Wang
2. Updates on recent activities
3. Discussion on key themes for the up-coming 2005 Position Paper
4. Discussion on future lobby and WG activities For more information about this meeting and the working group please contact Keiju Shimizu (kshimizu@euccc.com.cn). Thank you for confirming your attendance at your earliest convenience to Keiju Shimizu. Feel free to email specific issues you would like to address during discussion ahead of time.
