The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to factory tours in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and Taicang to explore technological innovation in EV components and textile industries. During the factory tour in Taicang, Ficosa will introduce its cooperation with X-Peng, Daimler and VW. This serves as an excellent occasion for Chamber members to convene in this city, renowned for its vibrant business activity and growth, exchange insights, and engage in an on-site learning opportunity to gain knowledge about advanced technology and operations.

Ficosa, a global automotive supplier headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, is strongly focused on expanding its presence in China, particularly within the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market. The company, which has been operating in China for over 15 years, considers the country a strategic priority.
Ficosa's business in China centres around advanced driver assistance systems, electromobility, and in-cabin monitoring technologies. The company has been a pioneer in developing and producing camera monitoring systems to replace traditional rearview mirrors, with plans to introduce these systems to the Chinese market. Ficosa has also integrated itself into the local market by co-developing products specifically tailored to China's EV needs and building a local supply chain. The company sees the Chinese EV market as a key area for growth and innovation, positioning itself as a significant player in the global automotive transformation.

FMMG Technical Textiles (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is the manufacturing plant of Fil Man Made Group in China. It was established in 2006 with a total investment of USD 30 million and specialises in the production of high-quality staple yarns for transportation, safety, filtration, environmental protection, healthcare, home textiles, furnishing, apparel, technical and outdoor applications focusing on the increasing technological requirements of the Chinese and Asian Markets.

Advisory Council Policy
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visits up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to corporate social events/tournaments.

Mr. Roberto Donà
Mr. Roberto Donà
Roberto Donà is an academic and a business practitioner with a long experience in China. He is a Professor of Practice in Management at IBSS, the business school of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, where he served in different academic leadership roles, among those the latest was Associate Dean for Corporate Affairs.
Previously he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University since 1990, Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management (2008-2010), Honorary Professor at the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Chinese Academy of Science and Visiting Professor at Fudan University. Roberto has strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, the USA and China. Since the beginning of his career, he does advisory for both domestic and international companies serving in several board positions.
Roberto is a representative of IBSS in the Shanghai Chapter of European Chamber since 2014 and he is a member of the Investment WG. He was elected as the Board Member of Shanghai Chapter in 2021.
Mr. Davide Angelibusi
Mr. Davide Angelibusi
Mr Davide Angelibusi is an Italian citizen who lives in China since Y2011, he has more than 13 years of experience in term of sales, marketing, production operating, quality control, and supply chain management in Asian and China market.
Mr Angelibusi is now working with FMMG Technical Textiles (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. a global leader company in the production of Technical Yarns for Outdoor/Indoor Sun Protection, and the technical textiles application.
As the General Manager who is in charge of the implementation of the Fil Man Made Group’s global and regional business, specialized in product strategy and market development in China.
Mr Angelibusi is also Board Member of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC).
Mr. Ignasi Claret
Mr. Ignasi Claret
Ignasi Claret is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in the automotive industry, boasting 30 years of experience that spans across several key roles and prestigious companies. An Industrial Engineer by training, Ignasi has honed his expertise through a diverse career that includes leadership positions at Volkswagen, SEAT, Hayes Lemmerz, and currently, Ficosa, where he has made significant contributions over the years.
Ignasi's educational background is equally impressive. He holds an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, USA, and Fudan University in China, and has furthered his executive education with an Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IESE Business School in Barcelona.
Throughout his career, Ignasi has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, demonstrating his versatility and depth of knowledge in the industry. He has spent 15 years in multidisciplinary roles, gaining hands-on experience as a Plant Director, Production Manager, Quality Manager, and in Purchasing & Engineering, as well as starting his career on the shop floor as an Operator. His operational acumen led him to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a decade, where he was instrumental in streamlining operations and driving efficiency. For the past five years, Ignasi has excelled as the CEO of Ficosa, leading the company through a dynamic period of growth and innovation.
Mr. Joan Iglesias
Mr. Joan Iglesias
Joan Iglesias is a highly experienced finance professional with a robust 20-year career in the industry. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Joan has furthered his expertise with a Master’s degree in International Business from the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF) and a Master’s in Finance from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), where he is also serving as an Associate Professor for over three years.
Joan's career is marked by a rich diversity of roles and sectors. He has spent a decade working as a Financial Controller and nine years as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), during which he honed his skills in financial management and strategic planning. His professional journey includes significant experience in the consulting industry and a notable nine-year tenure in the construction sector with GAM, where he managed the financial operations for the Eastern European region, including Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria.
For the past four years, Joan is serving as the CFO of Asia Pacific for Ficosa, a global leader in automotive systems and technology. In this role, he has played a part in steering the company’s financial strategy in one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the world. Additionally, Joan is a member of the Board of Directors for Ficosa India for the past six years, contributing to the company's strategic direction and growth in the region.
