The development of product liability law in China is in its early stages. Nevertheless, laws in China are now granting consumers the right to bring claims against domestic and foreign retailers and manufacturers.
This event will provide in-depth and practical information regarding both the legal frameworks and the operational implications for managing product liability.

Helmut will focus on the practical experience and tips of managing the product liabiblity in China.
China now is the biggest automobile market worldwide in terms of production. Nevertheless it is a developing market from the customer point of views. The used car market is not yet established and will come up very soon. Customer requirements especially related quality is increasing fast. Nearly 500,000 accidents with injured people and 99.000 killed people are potential risks for product liability. This is one of the big points that have to be tackled from the car manufactures and their suppliers. Typical risks and systematic approaches to avoid these risks for the company and their employees are discussed.
