The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to an exclusive preview of the findings of the World Bank’s latest half-yearly report on East Asia and Pacific Update - Emerging Stronger from the Crisis. The breakfast seminar will take place on 14th April at the Kerry Center Hotel.
The results of the report will be presented by Dr. Ivailo Izvorski, Lead Economist in the East Asia Region of the World Bank.
Led by China, East Asia has recovered from the economic and financial crisis. The region’s output and employment have mostly returned to the levels before the crisis, and exports are roaring back. But the world economy is set to grow more slowly in the coming years.
How will East Asia fare in such a changed global environment? Can the region resume rapid growth? And what does rapid growth mean to the different economies in the region? The report, which was released on April 7, looks at these key issues, and also emphasizes the common regional agenda for the medium term.
Join us at this exclusive breakfast seminar to get an insightful view on the regional macro economic situation and how this impacts your future business.
