Working Group Chair elections
The Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group and are elected once a year. The position includes taking leadership in the drafting of the Position Paper, representing the group and the European Chamber to the Chinese and European authorities, and steering Working Group meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice-Chair are senior industry representatives with relevant expertise and government contacts and the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the Working Group is also highly valued.
Currently, the Chair for the Group is Mr. Pascal Sefrin, Deputy Country Manager, China, General Manager, Shanghai Branch, Societe Generale, and the Vice-Chair is Ms. Julia Wu, General Manager, Deutsche Bank.
Both Pascal and Julia have kindly offered to carry on in their roles as Chair and Vice-Chair for another year. Should any other Working Group member wish to also run as a candidate in either position they are requested to notify Tony Robinson (trobinson@euccc.com.cn) by COB Wednesday 17th March.
