Speakers:
• Adam Livermore, Manager Payroll Department - Dezan Shira & Associates.
Adam joined Dezan Shira and Associates in 2006 after working for several years in the field of real estate management for GMAC Commercial Mortgage in Tokyo, Japan. He holds a BSc in Business Studies and Economics from the University of Sheffield. His experience working for an institutional investor combined with a detailed knowledge of the regulations and systems governing business in China give him a good understanding of the requirements of foreign businesses entering the Chinese market. Adam oversees a wide range of projects implemented across the Dongbei region and Shandong Province from the Dalian office. Recently he is focusing on expanding the firm’s involvement in the payroll outsourcing sector. Adam is originally from London, England and speaks, reads and writes Japanese and Chinese in addition to his native English.
• Helen Kong, Senior Associate – Dezan Shira & Associates.
Helen has been working in the accounting field for over 9 years across several industries, including real estate development, manufacturing and legal / consulting. She has 7 years of experience working in accountancy positions overseas, and achieved her accounting Bachelor degree at Massey University, New Zealand. Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates in 2008, she was working as an internal auditor at a US Fortune 500 company.
