Construction Working Group met with Vice Chairman of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MoHURD), 14th April 2010
On the 14th April 2010, the European Chamber delegation led by President Joerg Wuttke met with Vice Chairman of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MoHURD), Mr. Qiu Baoxing to present the Position Paper 09/10. The two parties discussed about energy efficiency in buildings, how barriers for construction companies can be potentially lowered to encourage consortium work. Further, Vice Minister also highly praised the European energy efficient buildings and welcomed European construction companies to carry out more green building and eco-city projects in China. The meeting concluded with both parties to continue to have frequent communication and the Vice Chairman also suggested the Working Group to continue communicate with relevant departments on topics of concern.
