The EU funded China IPR SME Helpdesk and the Tianjin chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce are pleased to invite you to a IPR Seminar on “How to protect your intellectual property through China's customs?” which will take place on Thursday 20 May in Tianjin.
China's customs regulations ban the import or export from or to China of goods that infringe IP rights. China Customs also have the authority to protect the intellectual property rights of European companies by confiscating infringing goods and imposing fines on infringers. However, how does this work in practice and how do you work with Chinese customs officials to protect your IP rights in China?
China customs experts have been invited to provide practical, jargon free answers to European SMEs using real-life cases. This seminar is open to European small and medium businesses in China.

The China IPR SME Helpdesk introduces European SMEs to the knowledge and business tools required to develop the value of their intellectual property rights and to manage related risks. The China-based Helpdesk provides free information, first-line advice and training seminar to European SMEs to protect and enforce their IPR in China.
