Dear SME Forum Member,
The European Chamber kindly invites you to the next SME Forum meeting on Friday 11 June 16:30. Please register with my colleague Charlotte at cjarosz@euccc.com.cn
The main topic of the meeting will be to elect the Chair and the Vice Chair for the SME Forum for the coming year. When you are interested in actively participating and to be eligible for the Chair or Vice Chair position, please send me an email, including a short biography and the reasons for your candidacy. Marcus Wassmuth (Landesbank Baden-Württemberg) has already indicated he will be eligible for another term as Chair. Alp Altun (ICSME) has also indicated he is again eligible for Vice Chair in the coming year.
Unique SME event
Furthermore, the European Chamber is planning to organise a business event. From many SME members, we have heard that they would like to – informally – discuss with specialists about the issues they are facing. These issues range from IPR issues to contract issues and many other. But they also said that the threshold for SME’s to approach professional service providers (management consultants, legal firms, financial consultants, etcetera) is high.
The European Chamber would like to help SME’s with lowering this threshold (free consults, company presentations and much more!), by organising a business fair.
We are now first looking for Service Providers who would like to participate in the fair:
--- Calling all Service Providers amongst the members of the European Chamber! ---
The European Chamber, Shanghai Chapter, will organise the first European Chamber Business and Service Fair on Friday 2 July (afternoon) in Shanghai. The Business and Service Fair will be a one-stop shop for SME’s and multinationals seeking business-oriented advice and solutions. We invite all our Service Provider members (Consultancies, Legal Firms, Financial Advisors, etc.) to promote themselves at this unique event via:
- Booths (For presentation of your general Corporate Profile)
- Private workshops (To target specific interested audiences with your services)
- Opportunity to do one-to-one consultation sessions with potential clients (Intelligent Business Development)
If you are a Service Provider and interested in reaching out to a wider audience of European companies in China, then don’t miss this special opportunity.
Please email marizaga@euccc.com.cn for more details.
Best Regards,
Tim Werkhoven
