Dear Human Resources Forum Member,
We are pleased to invite you the next session of Human Resources Forum Seminar on Leadership Challenges in China - Leading the Brightest People on Tuesday, 17th August, at 4.00 PM at the Kerry Center Hotel in Beijing.
Tomorrow’s leaders in China face a unique task – On the one hand they are striving to adapt to the demands of the global market, on the other must operate within the confines of the distinctive cultural, social and business realities of a rapidly evolving market. This brings enormous challenges that their colleagues around the world rarely face. Besides managing their businesses against a background of rapid change, they are also expected to recruit, retain and develop talent while respecting the cultural influences that plays a vital role in their own cultural identity. At the same time they are required to drive their companies’ rapid growth against increasingly tough competition.
Are these leaders ready for the challenges ahead of them? Is there a clear model of successful leadership in China? To talk about, share, and maybe find some answers, you are welcome to join us at this leadership seminar to hear from Eric Chang, President of Aviva-COFCO Life Insurance, one of the Best Employers in China, according to the Hewitt Study. Eric will share his insights in how they are tackling the leadership challenges in China, while Gabriele Petz from Siemens will talk about the Siemens Leadership Excellence Program and Johan Björkstén will share with us his 18 years of experience in China as one of the best-known and most respected Swedish businessmen in China on leadership. The event promises to be fast-moving and interactive and a good use of time for anyone interested in developing their own leaders.
