The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to announce that the its summer edition of its leading Insight China series will be taking place on Wednesday 15th September.
The Singapore-based Mr. Tim Condon, Chief Asia Economist, ING Bank, will be able to provide insight on the current economic climate globally and for the Asia region as a whole, while Professor Horst Loechel of the China-Europe International Business School, will provide a view from within China.
Many important questions remain about the resilience of the global recovery from the economic crisis of the past two years - is the worst behind us and are we really on a steady road to recovery? China seemingly navigated its way smoothly through the storm thanks to decisive actions from the government authorities, but do problems lie in wait such as the bursting of a housing bubble and rising inflation?
Our speakers will provide their perspectives to these points and will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
