Dear Healthcare Equipment Working Group Members,
***The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to attend a HCE WG at 14:00 – 15:30 on Wednesday 21st July, which will be held at both the EUCCC Beijing and Shanghai Offices.

This meeting will focus on recent and upcoming lobby actions in light of the final drafting of the EUCCC HCE WG Position Paper. The meeting will also be held to hold a re-election for the position of co-chair of the EUCCC HCE WG.
The European Chamber Healthcare Equipment Working Group is delighted to announce that two candidates from European-registered Corporate Member companies have put forward their candidacies for the position.
The candidates are (in alphabetical order to company):
· Peter Xu (许宁), GE Healthcare, Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs – China
· Lance Niu (牛朗) Siemens Healthcare, Government Affairs Manager - China
At the start of the Working Group meeting, both candidates will shortly introduce themselves and each member company present will be entitled to one vote to elect the co-Chair.
Chairs of the Working Group play a crucial role in driving the Working Group, including a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European governments, and steering the Working Group meetings and lobby activities. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts who has the time and willingness to support the group. The bios and mission statements of both candidates are attached to this email. Please take the time to read these before the meeting.
