The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to a special seminar exploring The Rise of Second and Third-Tier Cities in China – The Role of Human Resources on 10 November 2010 at the Kerry Centre Hotel– where three prominent speakers with rich China HR and operational experience will discuss the setting up HR operations in emerging markets in China.
Today, increasing numbers of companies are entering provincial markets outside of the big commercial centers of Beijing, Shanghai and the Pearl River Delta. Along with the huge growth potential, these markets offer various challenges for HR functions. The aim of this seminar is to discover how to best succeed and how to avoid traps as your company expands its geographical reach.
This interactive seminar will explore the advantages and disadvantages of setting up in second and third tier cities through the experiences of three senior managers who have learned from first-hand. Find out how they have tackled challenges including local recruitment, compensation and benefits, staff relocation and other related issues.
The European Chamber’s Human Resources Forum is pleased to present seminars on topics and issues of key interests to Human Resources professionals in China. We welcome anybody with an interest in this subject to attend. Members with first hand experience in this subject are particularly encouraged to come and share their knowledge with our HR community.
