Dear Public Procurement Working Group Member,
The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next Public Procurement Working Group Meeting that will take place on Tuesday 18th January, starting at 2.30 pm to 3.45 pm at the European Chamber Office in Beijing.
At this meeting we have the honor and pleasure to welcome Mr. Gu Liaohai, President of Beijing Liaohai Law Firm and Director of China Society of Economic Reform. He will focus on conflicts between the China Bidding Law and the Government Procurement Law in China through demonstrating the well-known Ministry of Finance case on Government Procurement. He will also discuss the harmonization of the two laws which are thought to solve many of the issues mentioned in the European Chamber’s Public Procurement Position Paper 2010/2011.
