EU Chamber Office, Beijing
Companies in China continue to face huge challenges in hiring, motivating, and retaining top employees. Some do it better than others: for example, Best Employers in China have a 5% lower employee turnover rate compared to other companies. Magic? Not necessarily. Please join us to discuss practices of the 2005 Best Employers in China that may help manage your own human resources challenges more effective.
Human Resources WG Chairperson Christian Doeringer from Hewitt Associates will introduce the Best Employers in China and share his experiences of employees retaining.
Following the discussion will be a short brainstorm on WG priorities and activities that can be undertaken vis-?-vis the Chinese government in the up-coming months. The agenda for the meeting is:
1. Employee retention illustrated at the 2005 Best Employers in China example
2. Recent HR-briefing for EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal
Opportunities
3. Update on the EU-China Summit and Brussels Circuit (PP 2005 presentation in Brussels)
4. Action Plan and presentation of the Position Paper to government agencies
