Dear Working Group Member,
We are delighted to invite you to the next Insurance Working Groups meeting, to be held on Thursday 31st March, starting at 16:00 at the European Chamber office in Beijing.
At this meeting we will have the honour and pleasure to welcome Mr. Alexander Mclachlan, Head of the Political Section of the Delegation of the European Union to China and Mongolia. He will present the main messages and results of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.

Working Group Chair Elections 2011-2012
As you may know, the Working Groups Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Working Group meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chairs are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts that has the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the Working Group is also highly valued.
Currently, Mr. Hans-Joerg Probst (ERGO) is a candidate for Chair; Ms. Wang Qingqing (Societe Generale) is a candidate for Vice Chair in Beijing.
Should you wish to be considered for the position of Chair or Vice-Chair, please submit a short bio and letter of motivation to Mr. Xavier-Lluis Sans Powell (xsanspowell@euccc.com.cn) by noon March 23rd.
