State Tax Bureau has issued a series of circulars since year 2009 regarding the tax administration of non-Tax Resident Enterprises. Enterprises should pay special attention to the tax withholding obligations when remitting the relevant payables (such as royalties, technical supporting fee, service fee, etc.) to overseas enterprises, especially to overseas related parties.
Tax professionals from PricewaterhouseCoopers will discuss with you the common tax risk in these transactions with overseas enterprises, and share with you their knowledge and thought on how to contain the tax risk.
Meanwhile, as the tax filing deadline (i.e. May 31, 2011) of the Corporate Income Tax (“CIT”) Annual Filing for Year 2010 is approaching, various state tax bureaus at district level in Tianjin have issued notices for CIT Annual Filing arrangement and tax treatment on some common items. These include local interpretation and explanations on the policies released since the promulgation of China’s new CIT Law and its Implementation Regulations. In addition, the supporting documentation list for 2010 CIT Annual Filing has also been updated. Tax professionals from PricewaterhouseCoopers will share their knowledge and thought on the 2010 CIT Annual Filing and answer your questions in this respect.
