Dear Working Group Member,
The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next Environment Working Group Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, 27 April 2011, 8:30am-10:00am at the European Chamber Shanghai Office.
Draft Agenda:
1. Sludge Management
Mr. Moys will elaborate on the treatment of Sludge Management in Wuhan. Major environmental problems occur with unsustainable treatment of sludge, leakages of toxins and other pollutants into the environment. Better ways to treat sludge are, for example, to reuse it as a basis for nutrients and to produce energy through incineration and production of biogas.
2. Position Paper 2011-2012
The deadline for creating a 1st draft for the environment Position Paper is 1 May. Please find attached a rough draft. If you would like to contribute or add, please contact twerkhoven@europeanchamber.com.cn.
