Incoterms® 2010 came into effect on the 1st January this year. Incoterms are international freight delivery terms used by everyone who buys and sells goods internationally. Incoterms® 2010 is the first time in 10 years that Incoterms have been updated. There have been key changes in Incoterms - not least 4 old terms have been abolished and 2 new terms introduced.
David Lowe was one of the 8 expert authors who carried out the review and redraft. David therefore has a unique insight into the changes.
In this talk David will provide an explanation of the main changes to Incoterms® 2010.

About the speaker:
David is a partner at international law firm Wragge & Co where he leads the firm's commercial contracts team. His focus is on contracts for goods and services ranging from routine trading terms to large outsourcings. David has advised retailers such as Marks and Spencer and Mothercare and international automotive manufacturers on their sourcing and shipping arrangements in the Far East, European food companies entering China to sell products, and international pharmaceutical companies on their international logistics arrangements.
