Shanghai IPR Working Group Chair Elections 2011/2012
The Working Group Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Governments, and steering Working Group meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representatives with relevant expertise, China experience and government contacts that have the time and willingness to support the group. Previous active participation in the Working Group is required. Please find attached a document which provides further detail about the role and responsibilities.
