The
European Chamber is delighted to invite you to a breakfast seminar featuring Mr. Xiao Lin, Deputy Director from the
Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission (SDRC) regarding recent updates on Shanghai's moves to become a global yuan trade center by 2015.
|
By 2015 Shanghai's financial market transactions are expected to triple to 1,000 trillion yuan, with Shanghai fortifying a leading position in the trading of Yuan-denominated financial products.
The plan, published by the National Development and Reform Commission, China's top economic planning agency, and the Shanghai government, shows the scale of the country's ambition in creating its own version of the Wall Street or the City of London.
|
Mr. Xiao will give us a comprehensive picture of this plan and touch on topics including Yuan settlement centers, Yuan product innovation centers and Yuan product pricing centers in order to promote the internationalization of the Yuan. He will also share with us Shanghai’s detailed steps to achieve those goals.
Speaker: Mr.
Xiao Lin, Deputy Director,
Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission
