2005 is coming to an end and the Chamber is looking ahead planning next years Logistics Working Group activities. The next Working Group meeting on Tuesday, 10th January 2006 at 9am is not only about reaching out to all members to determine next years priorities, but also to elect a new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
The Chamber invites all interested candidates to participate in the upcoming elections. The Chairpersons will play key roles in driving the development of the Working Group in 2006. With the support of the Business Manager, taking up this key position will enable you to help promote the Working Group's activities and communicate targeted messages on behalf of industry to senior policy makers in China and Europe. You would also serve as spokesperson in efforts to raise the Group's visibility in the media.
The Working Groups current Chairperson Alex Tate and Vice Chairperson Laurants Lupar will not be available for a consecutive term.
The tentative agenda
1. Review of 2005 activities and update on Chamber's government visits
2. Election of new Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for 2006
2. Forward Agenda 2006: Topics, dates and cross Working Group meetings
