The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Pearl River Delta Chapter invites Members to participate in the government meeting with the Guangdong Provincial Office, State Administration of Taxation (GD SAT).
The working level meeting concerns the VAT pilot program which will replace business tax in certain sectors. According to the recent announcement VAT pilot program will be launched in Guangdong province on November 1st. Guangdong Provincial Office, SAT would deliver a presentation on this upcoming implementation of this new regulation on value added tax.This meeting purpose is to continue the communication and cooperation between the Government of Guangdong Province and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Pearl River Delta Chapter, as a representative the European business in China and Guangdong Province in particular.

About Guangdong Provincial Office, State Administration of Taxation
Guangdong Provincial Office, State Administration of Taxation (SAT), a provincial level department directly under the State Administration of Taxation, is in charge of the state's revenue work in Guangdong province. Its mandate is to conduct tax collection and administration of central taxes and the taxes shared between central and local governments, which include value-added tax, excise tax, income tax, vehicle acquisition tax and individual income tax of interests. Guangdong Provincial Office, SAT is also responsible for the administration of tax refund on exports.
