Dear Members of AFB and IPR WG,
The European Chamber invites you to join our next working group meeting at 09:00 am on 4th December at the European Chamber Shanghai Office (with the European Chamber Beijing joining via videoconference) for discussing the key IPR issues in the Agriculture, Food and Beverage Sectors in China. We are pleased to have Mr. Fang HE, Consultant at Rouse (Global Intellectual Property Firm) to share his opinions and expertise in these two sectors.
Tentative Agenda
First Session: IP/AFB interest
1. Presentation and Q&A: IPR issues in AFB Sector, Mr. HE Fang, Consultant at Rouse (40-45 minutes)
Second Session: mainly about AFB WG, welcome IP WG interested members’ participation
2. Market and WG Activity Updates (Workshop Survey 2012) feedbacks brief report (if time permits)
3. 2012/2013 Position Paper progress discussion leading to the 2013/2014 PP time frame structure and KR brainstorming
4. Date for the next WG Meetings (Jan. – April 2013)

About the Speaker:
Mr. Fang He, Consultant at Rouse (Global Intellectual Property Firm)
Mr. He Fang's experience includes advice and advocacy for a range of intellectual property (IP) right holders across a range of industries. He has substantialChinalitigation and enforcement experience and significant advocacy experience in the Courts. He successfully advocated for a number of clients in a series of high profile and award winning cases and is widely renowned as an IP litigation expert inChina.
He has previously worked at Clifford Chance Hong Kong as a registered foreign lawyer and an IP Associate. Prior to Clifford Chance, He worked as an IP litigator with Shanghai Patent & Trademark Law Office for several years before commencing his Master of Laws degree at theLondonSchoolof Economics & Political Science at theUniversityofLondon. He Fang is also an Accredited Mediator of CEDR.
