Based on the successful implementation in 2012, the European Chamber is pleased to again offer a full-day workshop on Finance for Non-Finance Managers. The trainer, Dr. Laurenz Awater, is General Manager of INNOVA Management Institute, a training company known for organising high-level executive workshops for expat managers.
Business simulations are among the most effective training methods for business management courses. The learning-by-doing approach provides a live experience of business management, based on a comprehensive model of a manufacturing company. Participants take their own business decisions, see the economic impacts of their activities and thus realize their personal contribution to their company’s economic success.
Employees who think entrepreneurially and understand the financial relations and value streams within a manufacturing enterprise, are the basis for long-term success of a company. This board-based simulation provides for a risk-free learning-by-doing environment ideal for participants to learn the basics of finance and accounting through simple but increasingly challenging exercises. After completition of this training learners know how to fill
- P&L Accounts

- Key Performance Indicator Sheets and how to make Cash Flow Statements.
They have learnt to

- how to increase liquidity and profitability.
